As far as your opinion about the type of punishment a pedophile should receive (mind you, I didn’t say deserve but receive) it should be what the law actually prescribes - that is, whatever that might be at the moment, although I don\'t believe it comprises any form of genital mutilation. Now, if you personally are very unhappy with how the law in the United States presently punishes individuals for such crimes, become a political activist and try and change it to what suits you better.
