Globalization/Globalism is inherently flawed.

Call it Globalization, Globalism or Free Trade or whatever you want but it now has a long history of failures. It is about moving production from place to place anywhere in the world for the sake of utilizing the cheapest labor possible. It does not stay in place and production has become somthing portable ready to be moved again and again.

The U.S. Federal Government sponsored the moving of factories outside the USA starting in 1956. In 1992, prior to the passing of NAFTA Free Trade Agreement there were more than 2000 factories moved to Mexico alone. After Democrat President Clinton and a Democrat controlled Congress passed NAFTA, the number quickly doubled to more than 4000 factories. Many of these factories are on the move again since Mexican workers will not work for underclass wages. Many are going to China where workers will while Mexican workers flock to the USA in search for real jobs. Millions of U.S. workers have lost their jobs but find they can not afford to take jobs that are left.
About 39% over 45 in the USA have filed for bankruptcy in the years from 1992 to 2002. Only about 38% of all U.S. workers qualify for unemployment insurance.
