everyone has there own opion about everything.no one has the right or wrong answer i mean why fight instead of helping one or the other.out of it all someone always comes up with the bright idea of\"whos gunna be on top.\"but if leaders and everyone would look out for the problems in there own countrys instead of whats going on in others something could change.like america.Bush is so wraped up in this war he doesnt see the things in his own country. Its the same around the world.people will be people.but lives are at stake when u fool around.get an idea take charge u ruin everything and start a war.thats what happenes - Guest

THE USA IS A CORUPTED ENTITY--IN THE USA THEY PERMIT HOMOSEXUALS TO GET \"MARRIED\" WALK DOWN THE STREET NAKED AND ADOPT CHILDEN. IN THE USA--WOMEN GET ABORTIONS DAILY AS BIRTH CONTROL AND HAVE NO SADNESS ABOUT KILLING THE BABY. THE USA WOMEN ARE COLD HEARTED FEMININSTS WHO ARE SELFISH AND HATE MEN--- ARE THESE THE THINGS PARAGUAY WANTS?? WILL THE USA ARMY FORCE THESE THINGS ON PARAGUAY??? WILL THE USA QUIETLY CHANGE THE MORAL FABRIC OF PARAGUAY?? PARAGUAY--IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOUR CHILDREN?? - Guest

I don\'t remember the War of the Triple Alliance because it happened long time ago, in a time where South America had not yet defined its borders and identities. It happened at the same time as the Civil War in the US just to give an idea of how long ago this was. Nobody in Argentina Brazil or Paraguay talks about that war, except in History books. Paraguay holds no grudge or claims any land that resulted from that war, so it is pointless to mention that. The three countries have had close ties, economically , politically and socially for a long time. I wonder what the US\' intentions really are.....Let\'s hope they trully leave on December 2006. - Guest

I am very concerned about these troops in Paraguay. Eventhough the US is saying that it won\'t be there permanently, I don\'t think they are saying the whole truth. I don\'t believe the US government when they say things like that, especially coming from the current Administration. They just say things to calm people\'s fears and concerns and then turn around and do something totally different. In other words, they are liars and manipulartors. They force our countries to do things which are against our national interest. They don\'t care what happens to us. They just care about their own interest without regard for the consequences it brings to other countries. They don\'t want to spread democary, they want to impose their life style and traditions upon the world. They want the American Empire. - Guest

So what? Is that a reason for give immunity to American soldiers out of the blue. It\'s not who is who, or who did what. Brazil was as wrong then, as US is now invading Iraq. And more, even after all of what we saw, the torture, humiliation, lack of professionalism by the American soldiers in Afeganistan, Iraq, do Paraguayans still want to learn from them? Moreover, what can US teach about curtailing corruption, they are no example for any of us in Latin America. Traying to get way with trade exploitation in the dispute settlement cases on WTO... US should mind their own business. The more they spread the worse the world gets. They should take care of there decaying economy and society values... I wish the best for PARAGUAY, and hopefully they will not be used once again by foreigners... be them Brazilians, Argentinians, Americans... All these countries want to play big. Who is gonna look after Paraguay\'s interests? Are the people aware of their own choices? I don\'t think so. Good luck, P. - Guest

Brazil and Argentina have not been good neighbors to Paraguay in the past. Remember the war of the Triple Alliance? Many Paraguayans killed by Brazil, and the survivors put into slave labor camps.
