It happened at the same time as the Civil War in the US just to give an idea of how long ago this was. Nobody in Argentina Brazil or Paraguay talks about that war, except in History books. Paraguay holds no grudge or claims any land that resulted from that war, so it is pointless to mention that. The three countries have had close ties, economically , politically and socially for a long time. Eventhough the US is saying that it won\'t be there permanently, I don\'t think they are saying the whole truth. I don\'t believe the US government when they say things like that, especially coming from the current Administration. They just say things to calm people\'s fears and concerns and then turn around and do something totally different. In other words, they are liars and manipulartors.
