<title>Family Spokesperson for Azelle Rodney wh</title>
			<link>http://www.brazzilmag.com/content/view/3692/1/#pc_680</link>
<description>I am the mother of 24 year old expectant father to be Azelle Rodney who was shot down in the street on 30 April 2005 by the Metroploitan Police. They did`nt even know who he was when he was shot 7 times at point blank range in the head. I truly sympathize with the Meneze family and fully support them in their fight for justice as i always knew this would be a long road. Our family has attended 2 of the Meneze vigils and recently attended Downing Street and the March to New Scotland Yard demanding Justice.
We believe the police should take responsibility as no-one has the right to take another life, regardless. We have also called for the immediate suspension of the officer responsible for killing Azelle and are awaiting a reply from Sir Ian Blair. It is quite clear that this whole process, action and blatant covering up/lies has to stop. The ways that the Met work needs reviewing. The IPCC also can improve their strategies and fill the gaps that need filling. The Police should not be able to carry out their duties in this manner!

P.S.
A screening of the film INJUSTICE is being held on 2 September 2005 @ Prince Charles Cinema, Central London in support of the Meneze and Rodney families. - Guest</description>
