A question of race?

I\'m not Brazilian but is the lack of concern for the many Brazilians killed by police do the fact that these murders are of nonwhite persons as opposed to the young white Brazilian who was killed in London? Is it a matter of no significance if a nonwhite person is murdered in Brazil?

I know this is the case in America. There is no outrage when the police murder young black men. It is almost as if it is another plan of genocide. In America a well-off black man is just as likely to be a victim of police brutality as a poor one so it is not a matter of economics but of race.

If the Brazilian killed by the London police was an Afro-Brazilian would Brazil still demand the same accounting from the British? - La Dominadora

an interesting analysis of simple facts and evidences........

Brazilians citizens should care as much for the thousands and thousands of innocent people killed by their own police as the tragic death accident of Jean Charles in London !!!!!

Why Brazilian government does not put as much energy, money and pressure to their own police....that killed so many innocents, even children...as they do with Jean Charles ????? - Guest
