Yea Clara - as an Irishman, reading in Dublin, it's great to see a piece on a musician I so admire in the Headlines Of The Day. The wonderful Mauricio Einhorn introduced me to Nilson on the 'phone exactly a year ago, and I remember being sick and sorrowful that I was going to be all the way up in Salvador just when Trio da Paz were going to hit Mistura Fina (my favourite club). Anyway Mr. Matta was lovely to talk to on Mauricio's 'phone! Make that CD in NY with TdP, Mauricio and Toots!
Once again, lovely article Clara Angelica Porta. Lovely name too Clara Angelica Porta! Red Colm O'Sullivan. (jazzinreds@yahoo.co.uk) - Red Colm O"Sullivan
