So Wrong And Yet So Widely Believed

Many poor Brazilians have the idea that 1. Brazil is rich in natural resources 2. The revenue from those reources is misused 3. If properly administered we could all have a middle class standard of living without doing much.

This idea is all wet, but persistant. Might work for a tiny country like Nauru, but not for Brazil, even if commodities could be demonstrated to have worked miracles in ANY modern country. Is Saudi Arabia ready for the post-oil era? - Ric

Dont forget.....just remember !

I was the one who reminded about the "beef economy"!.I have fairly good memory.

Both countries strategies are certainly not the road to success and become a developed country !

It is a successful strategy to produce more "Caudilhos",yes ;D - João da Silva

"the growing demand for commodities from China and India, "..........

Therefore why bother the developed countries....At the WTO ?
And why talk only about Agricultural products and never about Textiles and other Industrial goods.
You even expect China to increase buying your agricultural goods while at the same time REDUCE their textile exports
to Brazil !

Lets face it, you want a ONE WAY TRADE ONLY .......ONE W.T.O. !!!!!!!!!!
 :) :D ;D - ch.c.
