Around a year ago, there was an article, in this site, concerning honey production in Piaui. Of course...with the regular navel caressing Brazilians are known for, it was a great success !!! My simple and irrefutable maths demonstrated that the average honey producer in that state generated US$ 30.- PER MONTH...PER PRODUCER !!!!! And that it was in reality not that great ! Well, a very educated Brazilian junkie, with probably a Master Degree in maths and poverty, most probably from a SP University, said : "....but with that you can go a long way....in Piaui...and that was a great success" A sad and true story !!!!!!! And I can only repeat for the umpteenth time that measuring a performance against a DECLINING FOREIGN CURRENCY......DOESNT REFLECT...THE INCOME GROWTH....IN THE PRODUCING COUNTRY !!!!
