I heard Ch. C. just landed in Vancouver, but I am not there. He has decided to stay until the 2010 Winter Olympics..you know those Swiss and snow!!

Jon, all through the day, I have been busy alerting our Federal Police about the possible arrival of Ch.c to serve summons to me and deport him back on his arrival. Now you are telling me that he is already in Vancouver, which came as a big shock to me!

Now that he is in Canada until 2010, you could ask him to help your digging job and pay him the Brazilian minimum wages ;) - João da Silva

Do you think that Ch.c was a passenger in the ferry that sank in the Philippines? He has not responded to any of our messages. His silence is deafening :'( - João da Silva

It will be interesting if both countries work together and see if they can overcome some of the costs and environmental hurdles of this potential resource.

A valid point, Jon. But my question is: Will the Swiss not meddle in the negotiations between the two countries, with the sole intention of sabotaging our joint efforts? - João da Silva

I believe Brazil is ahead of the US with this technology. Former President Jimmy Carter built a pilot plant in Colorado or Wyoming in the '70's to extract oil from the shale depoits there. Ronald Reagan cancelled the project in the '80's when oil was cheap. It will be interesting if both countries work together and see if they can overcome some of the costs and environmental hurdles of this potential resource. - jon
