Best of Brazilian Designers Going to French Fashion Fair PDF Print E-mail

Marcia Ganem fashion from Brazil About twenty Brazilian companies are going to participate in Who's Next & Premiere Classe, a fashion fair to take place in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, in October. Most of the garment producers and national stylists present - 11 - should exhibit their products as part of the Texbrasil.

The Texbrasil program was created in order to promote sector exports and was developed by the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit) and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

The company and specialists participating in the Texbrasil should be Thais França, Lês Parent, Maria Eudoxia, André Ungaratto, and Piedad, from São Paulo state, Gig, Patricia Bonaldi, Eliane Matos and Feriado Nacional, from Minas Gerais, as well as Márcia Ganem, from Bahia, and Lucidez, from Rio de Janeiro.

Also included in the list of exhibitors at the fair are Brazilian brands like Iódice, Osklen, Glória Coelho and Clube Bossa.

Who's Next & Premiere Classe is a traditional French fair to take place for the first time in Dubai. According to information supplied by the Abit, Texbrasil has already been participating in the French fair for a long time and is going to travel to Dubai to learn more about the demand on that market.

A total of 250 brands, mainly international, are gong to be shown at the fair, between October 11th and 13th, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center (Dicec).

According to information disclosed by the event organizers, of the total number of brands to be exhibited, 100 should be of female clothes and 100 of accessories.

Among the exhibitors, 40% should be French, but also, according to the fair organizers, there should also be brands from Spain, Italy, England, Scandinavia and developing countries like Brazil. Promoters of the fair expect buyers from the Middle East and also from other regions like Russia, India, Europe, North Africa and Turkey.

Who's Next & Premiere Classe takes place every year, twice, in January and September, at the Paris Expo, a 45,000 square-meter space. Each edition receives around 1.200 exhibiting brands. Visitors totaled 55,000 in the last edition, and 42% were international buyers.
