Printemps Haussman, the main store of Printemps, the famous French chain of department stores has started the project 'Frénétique Brésil' (Frenetic Brazil), through which they are going to trade, up to May 7, Brazilian products in the female and male, cosmetics, jewellery and cosmetic jewellery sectors.
This information was published by the Sebrae news agency. The initiative is part of the Brazil in France project, through which the European country is promoting a series of activities to learn a little more about the Brazilian economy and culture.
The Brazilian Export Promotion Agency (Apex), connected to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, is responsible for the Printemps Haussman project.
"This is a unique opportunity for promotion of the Brazil brand on French soil, and is also a way to promote top quality Brazilian products on the demanding French market," declared Juan Quirós, the president of the Apex.
Brazilian cuisine is also being presented to the French at the traditional Café Flo, inside Printemps Haussman.
The project includes workshops for customization of Brazilian sandals - given by French stylists, free samba, axé and forró (dance) courses, and massages with beauty products.
The French people will have a chance to see the work of such Brazilian designers as Walter Rodrigues, Amir Slama (from Rosa Chá), Serpui Marie, Waldemar Iódice, Reinaldo Lourenço, Glória Coelho, Carlos Miele, Cavalera, Lino Villaventura, Teresa Santos (from Patachou), Patrícia Vieira, Maurício Medeiros, Franziska Hübener and new talents of Brazil's fashion, like Wilson Ranieri, Jéferson de Assis and Érica Ikezili.
Apart from Printemps Haussman, 'Frénétique Brésil' is also taking place at other five Printemps stores in Paris as well the stores across the country in the cities of Brest, Caen, Deauville, Evreux, Le Havre, Rennes, Rouen, Saumur, Vernon, Lille, Metz, Nancy, Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille, Poitiers, Toulon and Tours.
