The next Summit of South American-Arab Countries will take place in 2008. This information was provided this afternoon by the Minister of Foreign Relations of Brazil, Celso Amorim.
According to him, the event to be announced tomorrow will take place in an Arab country .
Before that, in 2007, there will be a meeting between ministers of foreign relations in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
And in six month's time, there will be a high level meeting between the governments of both regions at the offices of the League of Arab States, in Cairo.
The schedule was decided during the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Arab and South American countries, which took place today in Brazilian capital Brasília.
"Most of the meeting was used to reach an understanding regarding the mechanisms to proceed with the summit," stated Amorim.
