Written by Newsroom
Thursday, 16 February 2006

Weil, Gotshal & Manges, the international law firm headquartered in New York, will serve as sponsor and host of a Brazil Presidential Election breakfast briefing organized by the New York Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce on February 22, 2006.

Sponsoring and hosting this event is part of the firm's initiative to expand its presence in Brazil and Latin America.

The breakfast briefing will feature Brazil's Treasury Secretary Joaquim Levy as a special guest speaker and include a panel discussion with participants from the U.S. investment banking community.

The briefing will examine the latest market developments in light of the upcoming Brazilian elections - aimed to depict key issues for investors and corporations looking to enter or expand their business in Brazil.
