With these numbers, the eight-business day balance rose to US$ 1.24 billion.

Thus, the year surplus amounted to US$ 6.91 billion, which is US$ 510 million, or 7.97%, more than equal period of last year, when exports totaled US$ 21.886 billion and imports, US$ 14.97 billion.
