Hackers Invade Brazil's Ruling Party Site and Post Obscene Message PDF Print E-mail
Written by José Wilson Miranda
Wednesday, 23 August 2006

"Chega dessa porra" (Enough of this shit!) was one of the messages left by Brazilian hackers who attacked today, August 23, Brazil's ruling party PT's (Workers Party) site.

The homepage - www.pt.org.br - has been cleaned now and all that could be seen in the afternoon was the red star of the PT with this message under the party's symbol: "We are in maintenance."

The invasion occurred around 1 pm, Brasília time, and a group calling itself Bios Team (in English) assumed responsibility for the attack. They posted a series of charges against Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and his government.

The hackers posted in the site the PT star on fire with the caption: "Chega dessa porra!" They then added a text saying that Lula was a curse that came accompanied by seven plagues:  the Congressional Inquiries on the Post Office, Bingos, Purchase of Votes, Bloodsuckers, Mensalão (big monthly allowance) and crises in agriculture and in metallurgical industries.

At the end they wrote: "Vote 45", in a reference to the number of presidential candidate Geraldo Alckmin from the opposition PSDB party in the coming October elections.

The hackers (it might be only one) even excused themselves for their bad Portuguese adding that president Lula doesn't know Portuguese either. The note is filled with gross grammatical, punctuation and spelling mistakes. Here's the message in its entirety:

"Some countries suffer with wars, others with terrorist attacks, some with terrible earthquakes, others with tsunamis. There are even those who suffer with hurricanes and tornados.  We in Brazil have Lula... oh misfortune...

"He is practically a curse and with him he brings the seven plagues: the Post Office Congressional Inquiry (CPI), the Bingos CPI, the Purchase of Votes CPI, the Bloodsuckers CPI,  the Mensalão (big monthly allowance) CPI - the famous mensalão that turned into funk - without forgetting the Agriculture Crisis (the guy doesn't care about agriculture, the country's future and he couldn't care less but, Mr President, if you ate something today give thanks to a farmer for that, since he was the one who planted it) and the Crisis in the metallurgical industries  (in which the president once was a worker).

"The country is sinking in taxes and fees, it is interest eating interest. But Lula doesn't give a damn, he is on his new plane, he gets money in his banking account and he doesn't know where this money came from or who sent it.

"Sheesh, what a riot... Open your eyes, folks, this is an election year. Stop selling vote for a denture or a soccer ball, let's vote consciously and take this country on a new path... PS: Sorry for my Portuguese mistakes, but who cares, you don't need to know good Portuguese not even to be president."

But the hacker.......
written by ch.c., August 23, 2006
....is correct ! He did not lie, contrary to Lula who lies several times a day.

Lula also betrayed all his electors by having promised the exact opposite of what he did/does since he is President.

But the Brazilian society loves so much liars and corrupted politicians....that they re-elect them.

Truly funny.

THUS WHY WHAT THE HACKER WROTE WAS OBSCENE WHILE IN FACT EVERY OF HIS REFERENCES WERE REVEALED BY YOUR JUSTICE AND/OR PUBLISHED IN ALL THE BRAZILIANS MEDIA, INCLUDING IN THIS SITE....AND NOT BE CONSIDERED AS OBSCENE ?

JUST THINK OF IT, BECAUSE I AGREE THAT THE CORRUPTION REALITY IN BRAZIL IS REALLY OBSCENE !

BUT FOR YOUR GOVERNMENT AND POLITICIANS THE OBSCENE PART IS REVEALING IT NOT DOING IT.

more obscenities in the brazilian political scene
written by celia, August 25, 2006
Hacker's actions are not to be aplauded, but in this particular situation the multiple examples of deliquency coming from the highest levels of brazilian government may moraly justify the hackers' libel. To the above mentioned obscenities I would add the fact that Lula didn't find anything wrong with the multimillion acquisition deal of his son's midia business (Gamecorp) through Telemar Telecom, whose corporate structure is controled by Foundations linked to some of the biggest Brazilian Public Corporations, such as Petrobras, BNDS and Banco do Brasil. Telemar invested R$ 2,7 million in a holding company named BR4 Participações Ltda, having Fábio Luís Lula da Silva (Lula's son) as a major shareholder. Gamecorp was incorporated a month later, dezember 2004, with a social capital amount of R$ 5.2 million. Telemar invested R$ 5 million and subscribed a capital share of 35%; notwhithstanding the miserable R$ 200 thousand invested, the holding controled by Lula's sons subscribed 65% of the total shares of the new company. See what was said about that in a clip commented by Alexandre Oitramari six months ago:

  • Brazil Engaged in Another Olympics: Reshaping Its Image Before Games Open

Economist's cover on BrazilBrazil received a huge boost in its international image with its selection as the host of the 2016 Olympics, but it was really just the cherry on top of the overall recognition of the country's ascension to the ranks of one of the world's most important countries. Now, as it finally takes its place on the world scene, there has been a great deal of concern about what kind of image Brazil hopes to project, now that the world is really paying attention.

  • Iranian Leader's Visit to Brazil Takes the Gloss off Lula's International Image

Ahmadinejad meets LulaThe only good thing to say about the visit to Brazil of Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, on Monday November 23, is that it was mercifully short and lasted less than 24 hours. Ahmadinejad had his picture taken being hugged by president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva who gave him a warm welcome and said Iran had every right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

  • Poor Women from Northeast Brazil Learn Joy of Meeting and Helping Each Other

Joined hands The small, coastal town of Condé is located just a twenty minute's drive from João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba. The Northeast of Brazil has historically been a place of encounter and mixing between peoples. For millenia groups of indigenous people fished, farmed, migrated and sometimes fought along this large, fertile area.

  • Ahmadinejad's Visit: Iran, Honduras and Brazil's Hypocrisy in Dealing With Them

Ahmadinejad and Lula The Brazilian diplo-MÁ-cia (bad diplomacy) carries on its accelerated course towards the non-acknowledgment of human rights, although sometimes it takes pleasure in saying that it does precisely the opposite. The visit of Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is another example of a diplomatic omission that verges on hypocrisy.

  • Lula Is About to Fulfill His Wish of Getting His Good Friend Chavez in Mercosur

Lula and Chavez On July 4, 2006, representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay met in Caracas to sign the protocol for the entrance of Venezuela into the Southern Common Market (Mercosur). After two and a half years, the protocol was approved by the legislative bodies of Argentina and Uruguay, and as of now it may be only days away from being ratified by the continent's economic megalith, Brazil.

  • Denying Education is the Other AIDS. And Brazil Is Guilty of Inflicting It

Children from a Diadema band Some sectors of the fight against AIDS have suggested that Thabo Mbeki, the former president of South Africa, committed genocide through his absence from the fight against the illness in his country throughout his two terms.

  • Child Labor Went Down in Brazil, But 5 Million Underage Workers Are Still Way Too Many

Child labor in Brazil One hundred and eleven years after Brazil abolished slavery, the number of workers deprived of their freedom is still huge. They raise cattle, produce charcoal, sugar cane or timber. Some of them, most undocumented Bolivians, work in basements of small apparel factories in São Paulo and other metropolis.

  • Some Humility Would Do Lula Good. On Human Rights Brazil Has Long Way to Go

A prison in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil On November 7, 2009 a few friends and I had an opportunity to take a look inside a Brazilian jail outside the city of Rio de Janeiro. We were able to take some amateur footage of our experience on video (see link below). It's no surprise, of course, that the typical Brazilian jail lacks some of the functionality of those in North America or Europe, but our experience that day was quite shocking.

  • Brazil's Amazon Rainforest Policy Is a One-Way Road to Disaster

Trasamazonian road in BrazilDepletion of the Amazon Rainforest is not a new concern facing environmentalists, biologists, ecologists, and a growing number of the Amazonian indigenous peoples. For decades they have feared for the fate of the world's most biologically diverse and species-rich hothouse.

  • Geisy, Brazil's Miniskirt Student, Should Try US College Next Year

Geisy Arruda from BrazilGeisy Arruda made history this week in Brazil, but for all the wrong reasons. What began as a poorly planned fashion statement has become a worldwide tale. Geisy decided to wear a pink mini-dress to her private college in São Paulo state, and after that, all hell broke loose.
