40 Brazilian Men, Women and Children Found Inside Truck in Texas PDF Print E-mail
Written by José Wilson Miranda
Wednesday, 21 February 2007

Wall separating the United States from Mexico US immigration authorities announced yesterday, February 21, that they are deporting 40 Brazilians who were found inside a truck's trailer last Saturday, February 17, in Falfurrias, Texas, which is 75 miles north of the Mexican border on highway U.S. 281.

They were found out at a road checkpoint. There were men, women and children and they were sitting on the floor of the quite hot windowless trailer. They were found thanks to a police dog who alerted to the presence of people scent. Nobody was hurt, according to the police.

The unnamed truck driver, an American of Weslaco, also in Texas, was charged with the illegal transportation of illegals. Less than a month ago the American justice had sentenced another truck driver, Tyrone Williams, to life in prison. In May 2003, 19 illegal immigrants died inside a sweltering truck Williams was  driving.

The American government has been taken several measures to slow the entry of illegal immigrants through the south border with Mexico. Among the planned moves US authorities intend to place 6,000 armed men policing the frontier and build a wall separating both countries, something Mexico has vehemently opposed.

Last year, Texas Governor Rick Perry announced a plan to install close to 3,000 high-definition camera aimed at the Mexican border. American web surfers will be invited to keep and eye on the border and call a toll-free number to report the entry of illegal aliens. A kind of Big Brother in which the eyes of the whole population would take the place of the state.

I know I am stupid as per some forum members ! Can anyone of those explain why this thing doesnt happen ther opposite way.....despite the fabulous advance and growth your country has made....when reading Lula worthless comments ?

And why Brazilians, the smart ones of course, are ready to pay top dollars, to escape Paradise and go to Hell ?????

Is America and Europe not Has Been countries while Brazil is the country of the future ????

Hmmmmm....something doesnt add in my view ! Not Yours ?????

To A Brazilian !
written by CH.C., February 22, 2007
And why Brazil doesnt open its borders to 12 millions illegals from LATAM and Africa ??????

In my view you will need many millions of new slaves...to harvest the increasing production of your sugarcane...you are so proud of !!!!!
Is not 40 % of your EXISTING 400 millions tons production......HAND HARVESTED ??????

Just think of it when your production will be 600 millions tons in 5 years or so !!!!!!

Could be that you already have these millions of slaves...within your existing Brazilians slaves !!!!!!!!

Do you know of 1 ton of corn hand harvested in the USA for ethanol, sweeteners or syrup production ???????

Could be that afterall ethanol production FROM CORN is far better for human beings than from sugarcane.....especially for those who will hand harvest your sugarcane....just like for those slave producing charcoal and pig iron...that you export with proud ALL OVER THE WORLD !!!!

Just think again.....your sugarcane workers....have a daily quota of over 10 tons !!!!!!
Yesss 10 tons, otherwise they will be fired and/or have they already low salary....REDUCED !!!!!!!!!

The same could be said for.....YOUR COFFEE BEANS !!!!!!!!!

Brazilians....BE PROUD.....of your COFFEE, SUGARCANE AND PIG IRON INDUSTRIES !!!!!!!
A few millions of poorly paid jobs.....GUARANTEED FOR LIFE....and growing.....growing...growing !!!!!

Yess...NAZIS escaped Justice and some went to....Brazil !!! Who is thus the NAZI country with forced and miserable LEGAL labor laws ???????? The USA or.....BRAZIL ?????

Enjoy your messy Tropical Mud !

And worst of all who are some of these people using the slaves labors ???????

Here it is JUNKIE :
"An unpublished report for the Geneva-based International Labour Organisation (ILO) concludes that despite the best efforts of the government of President Luiz Ignacio Lula da Silva to free slaves and prosecute offenders the level of lawlessness in the country's interior means that the practice continues.
The author of the report, Jan Rocha, a former Guardian journalist and an expert on Brazil, said the government has given in to the landowners' lobby's pressure in congress to delay a bill that would confiscate their estates when slave labour has been found, in exchange for their votes on other bills.
As the report pointed out the scandalous fact is that many federal congressmen and regional politicos have been found using slave labour on their cattle ranches - so some of the men who got the law postponed are those who personally benefit from the delay."

As you can realize some of the slaves work for your corrupted to the roots Congressmen....curiously the ones voting the new laws !!!!! Isnt it.....VERY SAD ?????

Furthermore despite the existing laws, NO ONE YET WENT TO JAIL......despite the laws saying they could face UP TO 8 years in prison !!!!!

YESSSSS.....from ZERO YEARS.....EFFECTIVELY !!!!! Zero year in prison....is by definition the norm.....in Brazil...for those having slaves !!!!!!

Worse yet....you re-elect them !!!!!

Impressive how sincere both Brazilians citizens and politicians are against the use of slaves !!!!!!!!

I am not the inventor of this expression !!!!!

On my above comments, the same could be said for Brazilian Agricultural Exports !!!
As I said many times, even if you find it monotanous (as you wrote-smile), I will repeat it time and time again :

Brazilians......BE PROUD.....of your US$ 50 billion annual Agricultural exports....while having tens of millions citizens under nourrished and millions in hunger, some starving to death, including children.

Yesss for Brazilians, exporting first food instead of feeding first its own citizenS....IS THE NORM !!!!!! Sadly !

Worse yet but on a lighter note, they re-invest their earnings.....in a declining currency :
the US dollar ! Good savings !!!!! smile
On that subject of currencies and exports anyone can see the end results if by any chance the today report from Merrill Lynch is correct :
"the fair value for Brazil's real would be 1.54 reais per dollar, using a model that considers structured current account positions and capital flows. That compares with a spot rate of 2.0815 reais per dollar."

If that happens, in my view, Brazil would suddenly no longer be.....against agriculture subsidizes !!!!!! Ohhh and not only for agriculture but for ALL their exports !!!!!
Laugh....laugh....laugh

The MER report also mentions other emerging countries currencies.

Finally another new News, not yet published, for "good" reasons :
there is again cattle FMD in MG !!!!!!!!

As you can see, I know more about Brazil, than 99 % of the junkies in this site !

i have said for a long time the major slave runners in the north of brasil is any one employed by the gov of brasil .

now the next move will be to take private land from people like me and the poor to grow cain to sell .
instead of useing it to grow food as i do , 600 hectors will grow a few tons of cain

am thinking of spliting it up and putting it in the names of my wifes family as they are indans

  • Poor Women from Northeast Brazil Learn Joy of Meeting and Helping Each Other

Joined hands The small, coastal town of Condé is located just a twenty minute's drive from João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba. The Northeast of Brazil has historically been a place of encounter and mixing between peoples. For millenia groups of indigenous people fished, farmed, migrated and sometimes fought along this large, fertile area.

  • Ahmadinejad's Visit: Iran, Honduras and Brazil's Hypocrisy in Dealing With Them

Ahmadinejad and Lula The Brazilian diplo-MÁ-cia (bad diplomacy) carries on its accelerated course towards the non-acknowledgment of human rights, although sometimes it takes pleasure in saying that it does precisely the opposite. The visit of Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is another example of a diplomatic omission that verges on hypocrisy.

  • Lula Is About to Fulfill His Wish of Getting His Good Friend Chavez in Mercosur

Lula and Chavez On July 4, 2006, representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay met in Caracas to sign the protocol for the entrance of Venezuela into the Southern Common Market (Mercosur). After two and a half years, the protocol was approved by the legislative bodies of Argentina and Uruguay, and as of now it may be only days away from being ratified by the continent's economic megalith, Brazil.

  • Child Labor Went Down in Brazil, But 5 Million Underage Workers Are Still Way Too Many

Child labor in Brazil One hundred and eleven years after Brazil abolished slavery, the number of workers deprived of their freedom is still huge. They raise cattle, produce charcoal, sugar cane or timber. Some of them, most undocumented Bolivians, work in basements of small apparel factories in São Paulo and other metropolis.

  • Some Humility Would Do Lula Good. On Human Rights Brazil Has Long Way to Go

A prison in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil On November 7, 2009 a few friends and I had an opportunity to take a look inside a Brazilian jail outside the city of Rio de Janeiro. We were able to take some amateur footage of our experience on video (see link below). It's no surprise, of course, that the typical Brazilian jail lacks some of the functionality of those in North America or Europe, but our experience that day was quite shocking.

  • Brazil's Amazon Rainforest Policy Is a One-Way Road to Disaster

Trasamazonian road in BrazilDepletion of the Amazon Rainforest is not a new concern facing environmentalists, biologists, ecologists, and a growing number of the Amazonian indigenous peoples. For decades they have feared for the fate of the world's most biologically diverse and species-rich hothouse.

Geisy Arruda from BrazilGeisy Arruda made history this week in Brazil, but for all the wrong reasons. What began as a poorly planned fashion statement has become a worldwide tale. Geisy decided to wear a pink mini-dress to her private college in São Paulo state, and after that, all hell broke loose.
