ALL numbers in the article are..... WRONG ! DEAD WRONG...on purpose !
Knowing that the Bolsa Familia budget IS BY FAR THE LARGEST and had a budget of 8 billion Reals in 2006, the other programs CANNOT BE AS BIG....IN THE TOTAL OF 24 BILLION REALS FOR 2007 !

Lets face it, the US$ amounts provided are in fact Brazilian Reals.
Therefore in US$ you should divide by the exchange rate...AND NOT MULTIPLY...once more.
Correct numbers CAN ONLY BE .......BRL 13,3 billion for 2007 (MAKING AROUND US$ 6,5 billion) and NOT US$ 13,3 BILLION (MAKING BRL 24,4 billion).
Otherwise the other programs are as big or even bigger than the Bolsa Familia.......WHICH IS NOT THE CASE !!!!!
Hopefully everyone can see how the numbers are manipulated by Bin Lula and his 4000 thieves, liars and cheaters !!!!!

I am afraid that the rumor may become a reality,judging by the way the the prices of dairy products have sky rocketed since January. It costs less to buy a litre of beer than to buy milk. Not only the prices of Dairy products,but also the poultry products,beef,etc; that are essential for feeding the kids to grow. Any Brazilian houswife would tell you about the increase in prices of these.It is a shame.

Interesting to note that in my country...prices went up somewhat...but not big !
The Brazilians population probably pay a higher price for the products you produce and consume...than those you produce and export !
This is a type...of direct export subsidizes, paid by Brazilians citizens !!!!!!

But dont worry, it is the same for the Swiss drugs produced in Switzerland. They are more expensive when sold locally than when sold abroad !!!! Sadly....true !

A few years ago, in a TV documentary with interviews of Swiss pharmaceutical producers, their answer was quite clear.....sadly :
"Yesssssssss.......drugs produced by Swiss pharmaceutical makers and sold in Switzerland are more expensive than when sold
abroad. The Swiss people must somewhat pay for the R&D costs. And if Swiss authorities and citizens disagree, they will delocalize their R&D laboratories"

More simple....there is not !

French cars sold in Switzerland are more expensive than if sold in other foreign countries.
Answer given by the French cars manufacturers in the same TV documentary : "True...Swisses can afford, thus our profit margin is higher".

This said, our French cars are STILL cheaper than when sold elswhere.....due to the VAT tax....the lowest in all Europe !

For your info, Geneva is a 15 minutes bus/car drive to France. Same for Basel.
French enjoy filling their fuel car tanks in Switzerland....because we are much cheaper.....despite we are richer.
Same for cigarettes.
All due to LOWER TAXES !!!!!!

Curiously...same for CLOTHES !!!!!

A report published by the Geneva-based International Labour Organization shows average per capita output of $41,310 (SFr49,815) – a figure dwarfed by the French with their 35-hour week.Workers in France ($54,609), Austria ($48,162), Italy ($46,154) and Germany ($42,345) easily outstrip their Swiss counterparts. They are also far more productive for each hour worked: the French squeeze out $35.08 an hour – a third more than the Swiss.
“Compared with the European Union, productivity is much lower [in Switzerland],” Marie-Claire Sodergren, an economist in the ILO Employment Trends Unit, told swissinfo.
She added that the figure was all the more surprising as Switzerland has a low unemployment rate – 4.0 per cent in 2006, according to the Swiss Labour Force Survey – and a relatively high percentage of the working population in employment.

2) I bought the land not only because price collapsed, but also because grains prices collapsed too from 2004 to 2006 !

Why chose coffee production ?

1) Brazilian coffee is of low quality produced in large quantity.
2) Blue haitian coffee, is top quality produced in small quantity, by very small farmers with small land acreages and in hilly lands and in a decrepitated country politically and economically. And in a country decimated year after year with floods and typhoons.
On top of that, foreigners CANNOT buy large land but it is not important with the reasons given above.

Therefore producing top quality coffee in decent quantity, in homogenous quality because produced in the same farm by the same people, in levelled land for mechanical harvesting, in irrigated land (center pivots), should produce a very high return, even more so when you bypass most of the local intermediaries and deal directly with the foreign buyers.****

Is it conceivable for an investor as well informed as Ch.c, didn't know that Haitian blue is more of a PROCESS rather than a BEAN quality…especially when he claims that he will be successfully farming it ?
Is it conceivable that Chc with all the knowledge about his new investment that he would had missed the fact of JL HUFFORD heavy sustainable investment in Haiti to the magnitude of 20,000 farmers involving 24 cooperatives and 23 processing plants in Haiti; for Mr. Chc to make this statement

Is it conceivable to imagine that such a detailed minded man like Mr. Ch.c don’t know that the only requirement of the coffee bean itself for the Haitian Blue coffee is the high altitude of its plantation…??? (6000 ft.Above Sea Level)
One may want to ask where exactly in Brazil Mr. Ch.c lands are…I would hate to think that some Brazilian have sold Mr.Ch.c a few National parks
(LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH) such as Chapada da Diamantine with 5,249 FT. or Pico da Bandeira National park with 9,488 FT.
